about 7 weeks ago, i posted this because i felt exactly that.
and i don't think it's coincidence that my orchid has birth such beauty.
i hadn't expected the three additional stems of flowers, but they decided it was time to be welcomed into my life - and now, into yours.
i expected 5 blossoms.
i got 14.
....
i'm inspired.
this orchid is a mirror of my life.

Beautiful. How exciting that you feel this way!
ReplyDelete"Be patient until the Lord's coming. See how the farmer waits for the land to yield its valuable crop and how patient he is for the early and late rains. You too, be patient..." James 5:7-9
ReplyDeleteBut God is not about efficiency. He is like the farmer waiting for the early and late rains, walking out into his field and testing the fruit. Some are ripe and ready, melting at his touch; others are not. He is not a get in, get out kind of guy. I am not patient with my own shortcomings or desires for change. He is. He sees what is ripe in my life and harvests it only when it yields easily. He is unwilling to force something off the vine even if it looks ready. He wants to put up jars and jars of good jelly from fruit in my life that is sweet and can be enjoyed by many for a long time. -- word for my soul from http://thefathershouseongardenst.blogspot.com/
